Moschino SS15 - I'm a Barbie Girl | Get The Look

If you haven't heard about Moschino's SS15 collection yet, then you must have been living under a rock - everybody's talking about it, and it's easy to see why. Back in February, Jeremy Scott showcased his fast food affair with a McDonald's inspired collection for AW14, and this season he has gone all-out Barbie on us! The Milan catwalk show kick-started with the guests being gifted a boxed Moschino Barbie doll followed by Aqua's 90's "Barbie girl" hit blaring out ... obviously.
The collection consisted of bubblegum pink leather biker jackets and skirts, abstract retro prints and Barbie-style Moschino branding emblazoned on pink jumpers and sweatpants. Accessories were reminiscent of 90's kitsch (bubblebags helloooo!), and made the models look like you could just buy them, in a box, straight off the shelves!
Every Barbie imaginable was portrayed, from cowgirl Barbie, rollerskating Barbie (which saw model Charlotte free skating down the catwalk), Tourist Barbie, Sporty Barbie, to full
on glamour-puss Barbie in a show stopping finale piece that would have made Ken feel rather under-dressed!

Despite the fact that I am not an overly girly girl, I absolutely adore this collection. It threw me straight back to my childhood, to the days where I would sit for hours playing with my Barbie dolls. I had the Barbie caravan, cafe, jeep, swimming pool... oh and Dog Walker Barbie - anyone remember her?! God she has it all doesn't she?! It's no doubt that now the high street is going to go Barbie crazy, thanks to Jeremy Scott, so I have created a little "Get the look" collection... so that we can all have a little bubblegum pink candy-ness in our wardrobes!

Outfit of the day | Yin and Yang

Dress - H&M via eBay
Crotchet Kimono - New Look
Ankle Boots - H&M
Duffle bag - Primark
Floral Crown - Topshop
Jewellery - Primark
Sunglasses - eBay

Hey guys! Sorry to yet again start a post with "weather talk" but the sun came out and surprised me, so I obviously made the most of it with a summery outfit post!
I bought this amazing yin yang print dress from eBay the other day and couldn't wait to show you guys. It is a very 'me' dress, the print is so 90's, and as you all know I LOVE all things 90's inspired!
I styled it with my New Look crotchet kimono, Topshop floral crown and embroidered duffle bag from Primark.

Apologies my posts haven't been as frequent, I have been mega busy working and carbooting on my days off! Hopefully I will be able to blog more often soon, as my hours at work will start to die down.
Hope you are all well, and thanks for reading! xx

Outfit Of The Day | Winter Is Coming

Jumper - Primark
Trousers - H&M
Shoes - Primark
Rings - Primark
Hat - Topshop (Old)
Necklace - DIY

Hey guys, this is my first official AW14 outfit of the day! This is probably one of my favourite outfits in a long time. I have had these amazing trousers for a few months now and have been dying to style them up. They are a little golf-esque but I think styled in the right way they bring a kind of punk MOD rocker vibe. I picked up the black fluffy jumper from Primark on my recent shopping trip for an absoloute steal at £10! They had them in stock last year and I missed out on the chance to grab one, so I am so glad they have returned. They have them in Black (obviously), Lilac, Peach, and Cream at the moment so get on it guys! It's deffo going to be my go to jumper this season, I love the texture it brings to an outfit, and it's warm and cosy too! Now onto the shoes, oh ma gawd I love them, they are just all kinds of perfect. I first spotted them in Sophie's recent haul post (go follow her she's awesome), and knew I had to get down to Primark pronts. My boyfriend hates them, he thinks they look like man shoes - to be honest that's what I love about them. They look more expensive than they are (£14 I'll 'av you know!), go with absolutely everything and they finish this outfit off perfectly!

In other news I recently visited home for a few days (hence different picture location) after begging work to give me some time off - I haven't seen my family for 3 months and was finding it quite difficult. I am feeling a lot more postive and happy since my visit and had some time to get my career path in order. Anyone else find peace of mind when returning to the nest? Personally it really sorts my head out!
Lastly can I just say hello to my new followers, I am at 33 on bloglovin now which is amazing, so thank you guys so much! Anyway till the next time guys! xxx
